Valuations of Personal Collections
of Original Art, Antique Prints and Limited Edition Art Prints for
Insurance Purposes or for Resell or Purchase Values.
PLEASE DO NOT CALL
FOR A VALUATION - USE THE FORM ON THE LINK BELOW
Cranston Fine Arts The Military Print Company has, over the years,
been inundated with requests for valuations of personal items for
various reasons including:
- insurance valuations, for compensation due to loss/theft.
- to get valuation for the purpose of selling the particular
item.
- to confirm the value of an item being considered for purchase.
- copyright permission on paintings.
We have had to bring in a small charge for this service to cover
our employees time, experience and effort. A set charge of £20 will be levied for valuation per item, plus information on the item which can be
gathered. The valuation we give would be the true value of the item
which we would advertise for sale in our commercial premises. If the
condition of the item is not clear the value will be given within a
certain range. If
there are several items, the third item onwards would be charged at
£15 each.
Cranston Fine Arts offer a best price valuation which cannot be
guaranteed. We cannot be held responsible for a lesser value being
obtained for the item when sold to another party.
The information gathered on the item will be supplied but is not
guaranteed. Many items will have no previous commercial record for
example being sold by the 24 major military and historical commercial
art auction houses, established print sellers and publishers, and museum
collections which we are in contact with on a regular basis. The artists
may not have specialized in military subjects and therefore may not be
recorded as such.
In the rare event that we are unable to find sufficient
information to make a valuation of your item(s), we will refund your
payment for the item(s). If we make a valuation, the fee is
non-refundable.
